I would recommend lessons of 1½ or 2 hours duration where possible as this allows for the greatest opportunity for learning and consolidation of previous topics covered. In the long term, 1 ½ or 2 hours lessons work out the best value for money as the number of lessons required to achieve test standard is usually less than if the pupil has 1 hour lessons weekly. There is no limit to the amount of lessons a pupil can take each week however, availability may be restricted. To guarantee appointments it is recommended that lessons are booked up to 5 weeks in advance
Terms and Conditions
Lesson Cancellations - must be made by the Pupil directly with the instructor at least 2 working days before the start of the lesson (including weekends and bank holidays) otherwise lesson fees may be charged
Lesson timings - Location and duration of individual lessons shall be agreed between the instructor and the pupil in advance.
Payment - Payment for lessons shall be in on the day of the lesson or in advance if block booking. Payment can be by cash (exact money where possible) or by Cheque or Credit/Debit Card*
Rearrangement - The instructor shall reserve the right to re-arrange any appointment with a minimum notice of 2 hours, to a time convenient to both parties if the instructor is not available for any reason whatsoever.
Test Cancellation - The driving test requires that all lights on the vehicle that is used for the driving test will be working. All lights are checked daily and will be checked with the pupil prior to the test. If a bulb blows during the test and as a result the test is cancelled then the instructor cannot be held responsible providing that the pupil has observed them working before hand.
Drugs and Alcohol - All pupils agree that they will be alcohol free and not impaired by drugs when they attend their lessons and begin to drive. If you suspect that you may be impaired by either then you MUST tell your instructor as it is he who has responsibility for you and the vehicle that you are driving.
* Credit Card payments not available in car with all instructors but can be paid in advance via telephone
